Trentham Reads, has now moved to The Community Learning Centre at Trentham Academy .
Pupils and members of the public are celebrating the opening of the new £380,000 library and will be used by the school and the wider community.
Stoke-on-Trent City Council provided the capital funds for the facility, but its ongoing running costs will be met by the academy.
And volunteer group Trentham Reads will run a book hire service for the general public in the building, with stock loaned from the council’s library service.
Other community groups will also be able to hire the centre, which has computers, meeting rooms, a kitchen and toilets.
The group will run two sessions every Tuesday – 10am to 12noon and 1.30pm to 3.30pm – starting from October 1 2019.
