Clinics & Services

What are the services offered?

We offer everything you would expect of a GP Practice and always aim to deliver it to a high standard, this includes:

Minor Surgery

We carry out a wide range of Minor Operations at the practice. This includes removal of moles and warts and other skin lumps, injection of varicose veins & cryotherapy (freezing) for veruccas. Our Minor Operations Clinic is held on a Tuesday Morning, between the hours of 9:00am and 10:00am.

Women’s Health

Our Practice nurses can give advice about all aspects of family planning including emergency contraception. They will also undertake well women checks, cervical smears and advise about the menopause.

Maternity Care

Miss Victoria Deaville is our attached community midwife and we hold a maternity clinic on alternate Wednesday mornings.

Child Health

The Health Visitors are now based at the Health Visitor Hub.  The team leader for the Stoke area is Jane Powell.  The practice can refer patients to the hub as necessary via email for information and support.

The practice nursing team is responsible for our immunisation programme.

Mental Health

Many mental health issues such as stress and low mood can be helped simply by talking to one of the doctors or nursing staff. Counselling and further advice is available from the Healthy Minds Team. Please contact one of the doctors for further information.

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Stay at home for 7 days if you have either:

– A high temperature – you feel hot to touch on your chest or back
– A new, continuous cough – this means you’ve started coughing repeatedly

Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.
You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you’re staying at home.
Testing for coronavirus is not needed if you’re staying at home.
